Road Conditions as of 19:00
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 18 at 19:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Sotk-Karvachar highway and the Vardenyats pass are closed to trucks and difficult to pass for other vehicles. The H-31 highway section from Hartashen to Tashir is also closed.
There are patches of black ice on the roads in the Syunik region. Snow is falling in the towns of Kapan and Qajaran in Syunik, as well as in the area known as 'Meghry Mountain.'
According to the information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Department and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' North Ossetia Crisis Management Center, the Stepanavan-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles.
