Joint Special Session of Armenia and Artsakh Parliaments Honors Victims of Baku Massacres with a Moment of Silence
Today, on January 18, a special extended session of the Cooperation Commission of the National Assembly of Armenia and the National Assembly of Artsakh was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Baku massacres. As proposed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, a moment of silence was observed at the beginning of the session in memory of the victims of the Baku massacres.
The heads of the parliaments of the two Armenian states emphasized that after the Baku massacres, Azerbaijan has continued its policy of anti-Armenianism. Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan added that today, the Azerbaijani authorities have adopted the same approach towards other ethnic minorities residing within their territory.
