Ambulance Refuses to Transport Patient to Hospital: Report by Tert.am
The ambulance service has refused to transport a patient to the hospital, explaining that there is no available space in the hospital. Tert.am received this report from a resident of Yerevan.
"The ambulance arrives and performs its functions, but does not take the patient to the hospital," the citizen said, adding that they are currently at the 'Grigor Lusavorich' medical center, where indeed there is no availability, and they have tried to inquire at other hospitals but received the same response.
The spokesperson for 'Grigor Lusavorich' medical center, Tsovinar Khachatryan, confirmed in a conversation with the media that the citizen has accurately represented the situation. "Our medical center has informed the central ambulance station that there is no available space in the cardiac intensive care and therapy departments," she stated.
