Snowfall and Impassable Roads
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 13 at 1:10 PM, there are impassable roads in the territory of Armenia. The Vardenyats Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar road are difficult to navigate for all types of vehicles.
Heavy snowfall is happening in the Syunik province. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
