ARM Armed Forces Insurance Fund Received 518.1 Million Drams

According to the law of the Artsakh Republic on compensation for damage caused to the life or health of servicemen during the defense of the Republic of Artsakh, a total of 518.1 million drams in stamp duty payments have been transferred to the Servicemen's Insurance Fund as a result of mandatory contributions of 1000 drams made in 2019. This was reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Finance.

The Ministry clarified that the deadline for submitting applications for the return of paid stamp duty payments for 2019 is set for February 29, 2020 (for individual entrepreneurs, the deadline is April 30). Those eligible to apply for the return of paid stamp duty payments or part of them include:

• Persons who paid stamp duty on more than one basis (for refunds exceeding 12,000 drams paid in 2019).
• Parents or spouses of servicemen in mandatory military service (for refunds of the entire amount paid in 2019).
• Parents, spouses, and children of deceased servicemen (for refunds of the entire amount paid in 2019).
