VIDEO: Enough with the Cynical Laughter, Tehmine Vardanyan to Hayk Marutyan

Today, on December 16, at the Yerevan City Council meeting, the issue of installing the sculpture "Walking Man" by sculptor Arto Chakmakchyan in the area adjacent to Abovyan Street on Northern Avenue is being discussed.

Tehmine Vardanyan, a member of the "Light" faction, deviated from the topic and made remarks to Marutyan regarding waste management. In response, the mayor pointed out that off-topic speeches are prohibited and instructed to turn off Tehmine Vardanyan's microphone. Davit Khajakyan also noted in his speech that such incidents of censoring councilors' speeches have never occurred, even during the Republican period, and they will not allow such cases to happen again.
