When Will Serzh Sargsyan's Nephew Be Transferred to Armenia?
According to the newspaper 'Zhamanak', Czech law enforcement has decided to hand over Narek Sargsyan, the nephew of Serzh Sargsyan, who was found in Prague a year ago, to Armenia. Ashot Aharonyan, the head of the Information Department of the Armenian police, stated in an interview with 'Zhamanak' that negotiations are ongoing with Czech law enforcement to resolve technical issues, after which results will be announced. 'If there are technical issues, I cannot specify a particular deadline. Once the technical issues are resolved, he will be transferred,' Aharonyan said.
It is reminded that Narek Sargsyan is accused under the Armenian Criminal Code of illegally acquiring, selling, storing, transporting, or carrying weapons, military ammunition, explosive materials, or explosive devices, as well as illegally trafficking or preparing drugs, psychoactive substances, and their precursors. An international search warrant was issued for him. A year ago, Narek Sargsyan was arrested in Prague, where he presented a fake passport of a citizen of Guatemala with the personal data of Franklin Gonzalez.
