Opel Rolls Down Slope on Nor Geghi-Argel Highway; Driver in Serious Condition

On December 12, at 5:55 PM, the emergency services received information regarding a traffic accident on the Nor Geghi-Argel highway, with reports of injuries.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional emergency rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was established that at the 1st km of the Nor Geghi-Argel highway, an Opel Astra G vehicle (driven by Gagik V., born in 1979) went off the roadway and rolled down approximately 200 meters into a gorge.

The rescuers approached the driver of the Opel Astra G and assisted him to a medical emergency vehicle. The injured party was transported to Abovyan Medical Center, where doctors assessed his health condition as serious.
