Materials are being prepared on the case of receiving 34,000 drams from a tourist: Police

On December 12, a publication was made on social media stating that a driver from the "Airport Service" taxi company received 34,000 drams from a German tourist for transporting him from Zvartnots Airport to Republic Square, providing a corresponding receipt.

Following this publication, the police department at Zvartnots Airport began the process of preparing materials on the case.

The police have confirmed that the individual who transported the tourist to Republic Square is a freelance taxi driver. The 38-year-old man provided an explanation at the Zvartnots Airport police department.

The circumstances are under investigation.
