Bus Driver Forces Schoolchild to Disembark, Citing Backpack as Obstruction
The driver of a bus in Yerevan, route number 13, forced a 10-year-old schoolchild to get off the bus halfway through the journey, claiming that the child's backpack was disturbing other passengers, and most importantly, after collecting the fare.
This incident was reported by Facebook user Diana Tovmasyan, who expressed concern, stating, "The child barely understands Armenian; what if they couldn't find their way home, and something bad happened? Who would be responsible for that?"
Hakob Karapetyan, spokesperson for the Yerevan City Hall, told NEWS.am that he has forwarded the complaint to the transport department.
