PM Advises Those Considering Celebrating New Year Outside Armenia to Look to Yerevan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made a post on his Facebook page regarding New Year celebrations. The following is his statement:
“I just finished a meeting regarding New Year events in Republic Square and the surrounding areas of Yerevan. Months ago, I set a challenge for the Yerevan City Hall and the government to have a completely new concept and content for the New Year, and it seems that this issue is being resolved. Therefore, to all those who are considering celebrating the New Year outside Armenia, I would advise them to turn their attention to Yerevan. I also unreservedly recommend our compatriots in the diaspora and foreign tourists looking for a unique place to celebrate the New Year to be in Yerevan at the latest by December 31. It will be an exceptional New Year celebration in Yerevan, in Republic Square. Unprecedented. More details to follow,” he wrote.
