Mher Grigoryan Participates in CIS Economic Council Meeting
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, who is on a working visit to Moscow, participated in the 84th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). According to the office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, more than ten issues were included in the agenda of the meeting.
Current issues of economic cooperation within the framework of the CIS were discussed, including the draft strategy for the economic development of the CIS until 2030 and the progress of pilot intergovernmental innovative projects under the innovative cooperation intergovernmental program for CIS member states until 2020.
A number of documents were signed regarding the forecast of production and consumption of energy resources by CIS member states, agreed tariff policy for railway transport, cooperation in education and scientific-technical fields, a common system of air defense, as well as analytical information materials.
