Vardenyats Pass Closed from Gegharkunik Province
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of December 5 at 19:10, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia. The Sotk-Karabakh road is open, but only with the use of tire chains for trucks.
The Vardenyats Pass (from the Gegharkunik side) is closed for trucks and difficult for other vehicles. There is black ice in the Mastara and Aparan regions of Aragatsotn Province, as well as on the Goris-Sisian road in Syunik Province.
Snowfall is present in the cities of Kapan and Kajaran in Syunik Province. Fog is reported in Abovyan City of Kotayk Province, on Vardenyats Pass, in Goris City of Syunik Province, and along the Saravan-'Zanger' highway.
