There Is a Real Threat of Escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh: OSCE President
There is a real threat of escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák, during the meeting of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers.
Summarizing the past year, Lajčák emphasized that throughout the year, dialogue aimed at resolving conflicts took place within the frameworks of the Minsk Group process, the Geneva debates, and the 5+2 format.
"We have tried to strengthen trust and reduce tensions through these platforms to support dialogue, but if we look at it from another perspective, the picture is less optimistic," he said.
