Rockfall on the Traffic Area Leading to Demirchyan Street
On December 5 at 08:12, the emergency service received a call reporting that rocks had fallen onto the traffic area leading from the American University of Armenia to Demirchyan Street. A rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' specialized rescue operations center was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the rocks had fallen from a retaining wall constructed at the side of Lerr Kamtsar Street. The rescuers removed the fallen rocks (5 in total) from the traffic area.
