Dutch Parliament Approves Plan to Open Embassy in Yerevan
The Dutch Parliament has almost unanimously approved the supplementary budget for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 2020, which allocates the necessary funds for opening the Netherlands embassy in Yerevan.
This information was provided by Tigran Balayan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands.
Four coalition parties in the Dutch Parliament had proposed that the government allocate 2 million euros to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the purpose of opening an embassy in Yerevan.
