The Identity of All Participants in the Police Torture Video Has Been Revealed, Says Pashinyan
The identity of all those involved in the video depicting torture of an individual in a police station has been uncovered, and it is even possible that there is already a suspect. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement today while responding to a question from a member of the National Assembly.
Khristine Poghosyan, from the My Step bloc, raised the concern that there are occasional reports suggesting that torture still occurs within the police. The Prime Minister acknowledged that such claims can be made but emphasized that there must be grounds for such statements, specifying where and when these incidents took place.
“In other words, while we are fighting against corrupt phenomena, should we allow those who torture to go to a back room and torture more?” Pashinyan remarked.
