Nikol Shines Again with Ignorance of Nzhdeh's Biography and World History: Kiviryan

We hope that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will finally try to develop his historical knowledge so that he won't shine with yet another instance of illiteracy every time or at least learn not to speak on topics he is not familiar with.

This was stated today, December 4, by political analyst Argishti Kiviryan on his Facebook page. It is noted that during a session of the National Assembly today, Nikol Pashinyan declared that Garegin Nzhdeh participated in the Balkan War and World War I as a junior officer in the Russian army.

The post mentions, in particular: “Today, in the National Assembly, Nikol Pashinyan literally stated, ‘Garegin Nzhdeh participated in the Balkan War and World War I as a junior officer in the Russian army, if I am not mistaken.’”

This is the fourth time that Nikol shines with his lack of knowledge, not only of Nzhdeh's biography but also of world history. It is one thing for a person not to know history; the problem lies in the fact that he consistently presents misleading or distorted historical data with striking confidence, all while being fundamentally misinformed.

Garegin Nzhdeh could not have participated in the Balkan War as a “junior officer in the Russian army” because Russia was not part of the warring parties in the First Balkan War at all. The First Balkan War, which lasted from 1912 to 1913, saw Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, and the Garibaldians fighting against the Ottoman Empire. Garegin Nzhdeh participated in the Balkan War as a volunteer, representing the Armenian community and commanding the Armenian Volunteer Second Battalion.

We hope that Nikol will finally try to develop his historical knowledge so that he doesn't shine with yet another instance of illiteracy every time, or at least learn not to speak on subjects he is not knowledgeable about. Though even in that case, he should probably remain silent...
