Light Precipitation Expected in Most Regions During the Day
Gagik Surenyants, head of the Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry's meteorological service, posted on his Facebook page: "Tomorrow, our country will be under the influence of a cold atmospheric front coming from Scandinavia. This process was initially quite strong, and it was expected to bring heavy snowfall across the republic. However, it gradually dissipated along the way. Thus, starting from tonight and throughout the day tomorrow, light precipitation is expected in most regions. The exceptions will be Gegharkunik, Syunik, and Artsakh, where heavy snow is forecast, along with blizzard conditions in some areas and black ice on the roads.
Precipitation will cease from December 6, and dry weather is expected across the entire republic until December 10. On December 5, light snow will fall in the capital's elevated areas, while rain will be seen in lower elevations. From December 6-10, dry weather is anticipated. Tomorrow, daytime temperatures will drop only in Lori, Tavush, Syunik, and Artsakh by about 4-5 degrees, but on December 6-7, they will rise again by the same amount."
