Video: Uzbek Driver Saves 50 Passengers from Burning Bus in St. Petersburg
A bus caught fire on a highway in St. Petersburg, with 50 people onboard at the time of the incident. According to repost.uz, the bus was en route from St. Petersburg to Zelenogorsk.
The media outlet reports that the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine, stopped the vehicle, and quickly evacuated all passengers. The passengers were saved thanks to the driver's prompt actions.
It is noted that the driver attempted to extinguish the fire himself using three fire extinguishers; however, as experience has shown, it is practically impossible to put out a bus fire using this method alone.
