Corruption Is Present If You Gift a State Employee a ‘Banbanerka’ Kamaz to Expedite Business, Says Gorisyan
Georg Gorisyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, has made a statement on Facebook regarding the Kamaz vehicles gifted to the municipality.
“In plain words about corruption: If you gift a ‘Banbanerka’ Kamaz to a state employee or organization so that they can expedite your business, while ordinary citizens have to navigate through multiple offices for up to a year to receive the public services they are entitled to, then it doesn’t matter whether that ‘Banbanerka’ is taken home or consumed during a break; it’s still corruption,” wrote Gorisyan.
