Attention Drivers: As of 23:00, There Are Impassable Roads; Fog in Goris
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 23:00 on December 3, there are impassable highways in the territory of Armenia. The Vardenyats Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar highway are impassable for trucks, while they remain open for other vehicles. It is foggy in the city of Goris in the Syunik province.
According to information received from the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles. According to information from the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, about 230 trucks are stranded on the Russian side.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires. Construction work is being carried out on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, resulting in the closure of the segment for trucks. An alternative route has been established: Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.
