Heavy Snowfall Expected
In the evening hours of December 2 and during the night of the 3rd, heavy snowfall is anticipated in the mountainous regions of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, Syunik, and Gegharkunik. Blizzards may occur in some areas, and icy conditions are expected on the roads.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, precipitation is expected throughout the territory of the Republic on the afternoon of December 2, during the night of the 3rd, with most regions seeing precipitation on the 5th, and in Syunik and Artsakh on the 6th and 7th in the form of snow.
On the afternoon of December 3 and on the 4th, dry weather is forecasted. Winds will be from the southwest at 3-8 m/s. The air temperature will decrease by 4-5 degrees Celsius during the night of December 3 and during the day on the 5th. In Yerevan, precipitation is expected on December 2 and the 5th, while dry weather is expected on the 3rd, 4th, and 6th-7th.
