Greek Prime Minister to Demand NATO Condemn Turkey's Actions

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has announced that he will demand the condemnation of Turkey's "provocative behavior" at the NATO summit in London.

"The Alliance cannot remain indifferent when one member openly violates international law and acts against another member," Mitsotakis stated during a conference of the New Democracy party, as reported by RIA Novosti.

Recently, the Greek delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Energy and Environment Dimitris Ikonomou, left the opening ceremony of the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) in protest against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's "provocative statements." Erdoğan announced during the ceremony that Turkey would not stop exploring and drilling for energy resources in the Cypriot coastal marshlands and the Cypriot exclusive economic zone.
