Extraordinary Incident: Wolves Devour 27 Sheep in Martuni
On December 1, at 15:03, a call was received by the 911 service reporting that wolves had attacked sheep in the mountains near the city of Martuni, Gegharkunik Province. An operational team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene.
The information was forwarded to the representatives of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure at the Emergency Situations Command Center.
It was determined that at approximately 05:30 on December 1, wolves had devoured 27 sheep belonging to Ashot Kh., injured 13 others, while 10 sheep remained missing in the pasture known as "Lusadzor."
