Rockfall on the Yerevan-Meghri Highway
On November 30, at 22:58, a call was received by the "911" service reporting a rockfall on the Saravan-Yerevan highway, which caused the road to become one-way.
A rapid response team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a rockfall occurred at the 156th km of the M-2 highway segment between Yerevan and Meghri.
Rescuers, in cooperation with employees from the "Vayk" road maintenance service, removed approximately 0.3 cubic meters of rocks from the trafficable part of the road, thereby restoring vehicle access.
