We Will Have a Constellation of Investigative Bodies: Ani Samsonyan
Member of the National Assembly from the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction Ani Samsonyan has written on her Facebook page: 'In the new Armenia, institutional reforms will be very slow or will fail if the government continues to develop strategies on paper and then constantly changes principles and course based on certain situations. For several months, we discussed that in 2020 we should establish an Anti-Corruption Committee and dissolve the Special Investigative Service, but now it has been decided that the SIS should also be retained. We will have a constellation of investigative bodies: the Investigative Committee, the SIS, and the Anti-Corruption Committee. This indicates that there is no clear vision or program, and the government does not know what it wants. I am starting to think that institutions and bodies are being maintained for certain individuals.'
