Taxi Driver Embezzles Money Instead of Taking it to Airport: Police

On November 18, at 19:40, the Arabkir police received a report from a 45-year-old man stating that on the same day at 18:00, he had given 200,000 drams to the driver of a Nissan taxi on Proshyan Street to take him to Zvartnots Airport, but the driver embezzled the money.

This information was reported by the Armenian Police's press service.

Thanks to the operational-investigative measures taken by the police officers, it was revealed that the taxi driver is a 29-year-old resident of Dilijan, who, after receiving a warning, presented himself to the Arabkir police on November 26 and gave a confessional statement. Materials are being prepared.
