Fatal Accident in Shirak Province: Opel Crashes into Bridge Railings and Ends up in Field

Today, on November 26, a tragic car accident occurred in Shirak Province. Around 3:10 PM, the driver of an Opel vehicle with license plate 35 VD 063 lost control on the Karaberd-Zitahank road, 3.5 km from the junction, crashed into the iron railings of a bridge, broke them, and ended up in a field.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, residents of the village of Zitahank, 45-year-old Hamlet Piloyan and 42-year-old Arsen Mkrtchyan, were taken with injuries to the Gyumri Medical Center, while 45-year-old Vachagan Mkrtchyan, also a resident of Zitahank village, died on the way to the hospital.
