The official visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the Italian Republic continues. The Prime Minister of Armenia is currently in the city of Milan.

Today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, along with his wife Anna Hakobyan, visited the Milan Cathedral, toured the cathedral, and became acquainted with the architectural and historical significance of this monumental site.

It is noteworthy that the Milan Cathedral, known as Duomo di Milano, is a Gothic-style Catholic cathedral located in the administrative center of the Lombardy region of Italy. It serves as the residence of the Archbishop of Milan. The cathedral reaches a height of 106.5 meters and can accommodate up to 40,000 people simultaneously. The Milan Gothic Cathedral is the fourth largest in the world and the third largest in Europe.

The cathedral features numerous marble spires that are interconnected by a network of buttresses. Construction of the cathedral began in 1386 and was completed in 1813. The Gothic style of the cathedral is intertwined with elements of Renaissance culture, and the main symbol of the cathedral, a golden statue of Milan's patron saint, "La Madonnina," is located inside.
