Jermuk and Gndevaz Community Meeting Turns Heated
The newspaper "Jhoghovurd" reports that representatives from the National Assembly, the government, and investigative bodies held a meeting with residents of Jermuk and Gndevaz yesterday, with around 130 attendees present. Details have emerged about this closed meeting initiated by Jermuk's leader Vardan Gevorgyan.
It was Gevorgyan himself who sent out the invitations, and mainly representatives from spa, hotel, tourism companies, and various NGOs attended the event. During this heated and tense meeting, one of the key grievances expressed was the lack of live broadcasts and coverage in general, as well as the fact that the meeting was organized via invitations rather than a public announcement.
Officials attempted to assure attendees that the purpose of the meeting was to provide a report on what actions the agencies had taken to resolve the Amulsar issues for the benefit of the country. However, the residents countered, stating that they would not be convinced by the report and would not open the road regardless of the discussion.
