21-Year-Old Driver in Impaired Condition Crashes into Concrete Barrier on Myasnikyan Avenue, Flips Over
On November 17, a dramatic and severe car accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 10:50 PM, 21-year-old Gevorg Manucharyan, a resident of Abovyan, crashed his Mercedes E-320, license plate 35 QM 589, into a concrete dividing barrier on Myasnikyan Avenue. After the collision, the vehicle continued forward and flipped over, partially landing in the middle of the road.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, who reported from the scene, initial information indicates that there were no injuries resulting from the accident. Residents living nearby were the first to provide assistance to the driver.
Gevorg Manucharyan underwent a sobriety test on site, which revealed that he was driving under the influence, with the highest level of intoxication.
