18-Year-Old in Critical Condition After Stabbing in Yerevan

A brawl in Yerevan ended in a stabbing incident.

According to Sputnik Armenia, an 18-year-old resident of Yerevan was hospitalized in critical condition at the "Erebuni" medical center on November 17. He sustained a stab wound to the chest. Doctors managed to save the young man's life.

Moments later, the injured teenager's friend was also admitted to the same medical facility with injuries. Medical personnel called in police officers to investigate the incident.

The incident occurred in the center of the capital and involved a group of young people. Insults and mutual blows were apparently insufficient to settle their disputes, prompting one of the participants to resort to using a knife. According to our information, the police are aware of the identity of the assailant.
