Explosion in One of the Houses in Aragatsotn Province: 13-Year-Old Child Hospitalized

An emergency incident occurred today in Aragatsotn Province. Between 01:00 and 01:30, a powerful explosion took place in House 5 on 5th Street of Karin village under still unknown circumstances, reports shamshyan.com.

As a result of the explosion, a 13-year-old boy, Mher K., sustained injuries and burns to the neck, and was transported to the "Ashtarak" medical center, from where he was later transferred to the Burn Center in Yerevan.

The explosion rendered the four-room house completely uninhabitable. The blast was so powerful that a large portion of the roof was torn off the walls, windows were blown out, and all furnishings inside the house were severely damaged.
