Shooting in Ejmiatsin: 30-Year-Old Man Undergoing Surgery

Numerous gunshots were heard near the Saint Hripsime Church in Ejmiatsin. Law enforcement officials found a vehicle at the scene with multiple bullet casings.

Currently, a significant number of law enforcement officers are conducting operations near the Saint Hripsime Church in the city of Ejmiatsin.

According to Sputnik Armenia, an armed incident occurred there a short while ago. A man in his approximately 30s is undergoing surgery at the Vagharshapat Medical Center after suffering gunshot wounds as a result of the incident.

It is highly likely that multiple gunshots were fired, as law enforcement found a vehicle with numerous bullet casings at the crime scene, which belongs to the injured individual.

The authorities are investigating the details of the incident.
