Grenades and a Gun Voluntarily Surrendered to Nairi and Artashat Police Departments
As a result of the explanatory work by police officers, cases of voluntary surrender of illegally held weapons and ammunition continue to be registered in regional subdivisions.
A 57-year-old man who came to the Nairi police department, a resident of Zovuni village, voluntarily surrendered six grenades of various types, complete with their fuses. According to him, they belonged to a deceased friend.
Also, a 46-year-old man living in the village of Hnaberd in the Ararat region brought a gun to the Artashat police department, stating that it belonged to his grandfather, who passed away years ago.
Forensic examinations have been ordered. It is worth noting that individuals who voluntarily surrender illegally held weapons and ammunition are exempt from criminal liability.
