17 Injured in Explosion at Turkish Munitions Depot
An explosion occurred at an munitions depot in the 20th Armored Brigade near the Syrian border in Şanlıurfa province last night. According to cnnturk.com, 17 individuals were reported injured, including 16 military personnel and one civilian.
The governor of the province, Abdullah Erin, informed that there were two explosions at 23:30 and 23:45 Yerevan time. He stated that the injured individuals are receiving treatment in the hospital and their lives are not in danger. Erin also indicated that the explosion was caused by technical reasons and had no ties to terrorism.
