Magnitude 2-3 Earthquake Recorded in Shirak Province
On November 13, at 19:35 local time (15:35 Greenwich Mean Time), a magnitude 1.9 earthquake was recorded by the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at geographical coordinates 40.990° North latitude and 43.900° East longitude (6 km southeast of the village of Ashotzk, Armenia), with a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicenter zone was measured at 2-3 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in the village of Zuygaghbyur with an intensity of 2.
