Fire Breaks Out Again at Dilijan National Park

On November 13, at 14:19, the 911 service received information about smoke observed in the forest adjacent to Kamoy Street in Dilijan, Tavush Province. This was reported by the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations headed to the scene. It was determined that the fire had occurred in the 5th compartment of the Dilijan National Park state non-commercial organization.

The fire was contained at 16:23 and extinguished by 16:46. Approximately 3 hectares of dry leaves and wood debris were burned during the incident. Eight employees from the Dilijan National Park participated in the firefighting efforts.
