Over 9,000,000 Drams Embezzled: Details on Ruslan Baghdasaryan's Case

The former head of the Davtashen administrative district, Ruslan Baghdasaryan, has had bail imposed against him. This was reported by lawyer Hrant Ananyan.

According to pastinfo.am, Ruslan Baghdasaryan has been charged under the 179th article part 3 point 1, the 314th article, and the 325th article part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The investigator had submitted a motion for his arrest.

According to currently available information, under oral instructions from the former district head, various employees of the community administration and residents of the district were involved in the preparation and signing of fraudulent documents concerning the provision of financial assistance, based on which more than 9,000,000 drams were embezzled during the period from 2012 to 2014.
