Explosion in Syria Results in Casualties

An explosion has occurred in the suburb of Suluk in the city of Tel Abyad, which is under the control of the Turkish armed forces and their allied group, the Syrian National Army, reports ermenihaber.am.

According to a statement from the Turkish Ministry of Defense, the incident has resulted in 9 fatalities and 30 injuries, all of whom are civilians.

Previously, Tel Abyad was under the control of Syrian Kurdish forces; however, it came under the control of Turkish forces and affiliated groups following Turkey's military operation dubbed "Operation Peace Spring" in Syrian territory.

Turkish media attributes the organization of the explosion to Syrian Kurdish forces.
