Criminal Investigators Uncover Theft Case Involving 2 Million Drams

On October 30, the Nairi division of the police received a report regarding a theft. Unknown individuals had stolen a several hundred-meter long pipeline belonging to a young man in the town of Eghvard. According to preliminary estimates, the victim suffered damages exceeding 2,000,000 drams.

Following days of operational measures, the criminal investigators of the Nairi division identified the individuals responsible for the theft. Through explanatory work conducted with the suspects, they presented themselves to the police.

Subsequent investigations revealed that the stolen items had been sold for several hundred thousand drams. Efforts to locate the stolen goods continue. An investigation is underway.
