«Zhamanak»: Why is Robert Kocharyan Recruiting Clients from Drug Rehabilitation Centers?

«Zhamanak» reports: The hired associates of Robert Kocharyan, who is detained on charges of undermining constitutional order, are recruiting individuals registered at drug rehabilitation centers in Yerevan and the regions. The supporters of Kocharyan are bringing this contingent under their wing, understanding that these individuals are targets of both the government and society, thus making it easier to use them for their own political purposes.

This recruitment under an anti-government umbrella will be facilitated by the anticipated adoption of a law concerning individuals associated with criminal subcultures, as the overwhelming majority of these individuals are clients of drug rehabilitation centers.
