«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Արցախի Հանրապետության ԱԱԽ նախկին քարտուղար Վիտալի Բալասանյանի գործունեությունը ամբողջովին ֆինանսավորվում է Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի ավագ որդու՝ Սեդրակ Քոչարյանի կողմից: Վերջինս է հանձնառել ամբողջովին ֆինանսավորել նաև Բալասանյանի նախընտրական քարոզարշավը: Բալասանյանն այլընտրանք չի էլ ունեցել, քանի որ Սերժ Սարգսյանը հրաժարվել է նրա ընտրարշավը ֆինանսավորելու առաջարկից. Հիմա Բալասանյանը مجبور է փոխհատուցել իրեն տրված գումարը, այդ թվում՝ Քոչարյանի օգտին ստորագրահավաք կազմակերպելով.
