Small Group of Azerbaijanis Holds Protest Against Artsakh in Washington
A group of Azerbaijanis organized a protest in Washington, D.C., in front of the Capitol. According to Rusarminfo, the protest occurred during the visit of the delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh to the United States.
The participants held placards with messages such as "Karabakh is Azerbaijan" and "End the occupation." The protesters asserted that they will soon reclaim Karabakh, and this will come as a "surprise" to Armenia.
The Artsakh MFA delegation's working visit to the U.S. began on October 29. Artsakh’s Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan delivered a report at an event dedicated to the independence of Artsakh in Congress. He was also present during the voting on the resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
