Russia to Deploy Military Forces Along Turkey-Syria Border
Russia will deploy 276 military police personnel and 33 military vehicles to the Turkey-Syria border region. This has been reported by RIA Novosti, citing sources from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the source, this decision is linked to the emergence of a new situation in northern Syria. It is noted that currently, no military operations are taking place in northern Syria.
The source also mentioned that Russian military police units have been moving towards the Turkey-Syria border. These forces will facilitate the withdrawal of Kurdish forces from northern Syria. Following this, the two countries will begin to exercise control over previously determined areas in northern Syria.
