Speaker of the House of Commons Refuses to Put Brexit Document to Vote

Discussions on Brexit have commenced anew in the House of Commons in the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Boris Johnson wanted to reintroduce the Brexit agreement with the European Union for a second vote in Parliament. However, Speaker of the House John Bercow has refused to include the matter in the agenda, stating that it is illegal to discuss and vote on the same issue twice.

The Brexit agreement ratified between Brussels and London was rejected by the House of Commons during an extraordinary session held on Saturday, forcing Prime Minister Boris Johnson to send an official letter to EU leaders requesting an extension of the Brexit deadline.
