23-Year-Old Woman Gives Birth to Stillborn at Ijevan Maternity Hospital; Relatives Blame Doctors

A 50-year-old resident of Tavush region, Senik S., filed a report with the Ijevan police on October 18, claiming that at around 6:00 PM, the doctors of the 'Ijevan' medical center's maternity ward had failed to perform their duties properly. As a result, his daughter-in-law, 23-year-old Diana M., who was 32 weeks pregnant, gave birth to a stillborn child, and he accused the doctors, including 33-year-old maternity gynecologist Varduhi V. from Ijevan, stating that a cesarean section was performed at her urging.

According to Shamshyan.com, the 'Ijevan' medical center notified the Ijevan police that Diana M. was transferred to them with a diagnosis of '32-week stillborn fetus, normal information layer separation.'

Materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Ijevan police regarding the incident.
