«Joghvourd» newspaper reports that yesterday it became known that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has dismissed Deputy Minister of Health Hovhannes Harutyunyan from his position. Harutyunyan refused to disclose the reasons for his departure, while the ministry clarified that it was 'according to his application.'

This is strange to the extent that the deputy minister, endowed with a wide range of powers, had been actively engaging just days ago and showed no inclination to leave. The newspaper learned that the key reason for Harutyunyan's dismissal is the involvement of his father, who has come under the radar of law enforcement as a result of the NSS operations surrounding the 'Hayastan' All-Armenian Fund, and the ministry no longer wishes to engage with him.
