The Kurdish Community of Armenia to Hold a Rally Near the U.S. Embassy
The Kurdish community of Armenia will hold a rally in support of the Kurds in Syria against Turkey's aggression on October 15 at 12 PM near the U.S. Embassy. This was reported by Karen Hovhannisyan, an expert on the Turkish-Kurdish issue.
It is important to recall that on October 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced on social media that Turkish forces had begun a military operation in northern Syria, an area controlled by Kurdish forces, allies of the United States. The aim of the operation is to remove Kurdish militia from the northern regions of Syria and to create a 'safe zone.' Turkey intends to relocate 3.6 million Syrian refugees to this zone.
